More on the best ingredients for an eye cream
This is the second article on best eye cream ingredients but before we begin, I would like to share a couple of my grandmother’s favorite tips. My grandmother had beautiful skin, despite not having the advances in science that bring us the best possible ingredients that we have today.
She always advised washing in rain water but if this was not possible she would tie some oatmeal in a bit of muslin and let it soak in the water for some hours before using the water. On her washstand sat a bottle of borax solution. This she made by filling the bottle two thirds full with distilled water and topped it up with borax powder. Once it had dissolved, a tablespoon was added to the bowl of water to wash her hands or face.
Borax softens the water and kept her skin smooth soft and white and she had very few wrinkles. Apparently borax also has healing properties and she found that adding four tablespoons from her bottle, into the bath water was most soothing and valuable.
When looking for an eye cream, I want something that will save me from any possibility of having to go under the knife or Botox injections. So what are the best ingredients? Firstly antioxidants are necessary to fight free radical damage.
Dithiolane-3-Pentanoic Acid is not only an antioxidant, which deals with free radicals, but it also adds to the effectiveness of other antioxidants including Vitamin E and C. Apparently this has an added bonus because it can also remove dead skin to lessen the affect of wrinkle around the eyes. Research has shown that after just twelve weeks use of Dithiolane-3-Pentanoic Acid women over fifty had over a 50% reduction of skin roughness and other photo aging characteristics. If these numbers don’t impress you, i don’t know what will.
Sepitonic is a blend, which is one of the best. It is made by a pharmaceutical company in Europe and contains Copper, Magnesium and Zinc. This product gives the elements to stimulate regeneration of the cells and gives your skin a fresh radiant glow.
Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is another of eye cream ingredients. It works by controlling the spasms in the face muscles. Many lines around our eyes are caused by facial expressions, frowning and blinking etc and research into this product has found that after just a months use, wrinkles around the eyes were reduced by thirty percent and an average of forty percent overall improvement in skin tone, dryness and smoothness.
If like me you expect instant gratification and are on the look out for an excellent product, you need look no further than LifeCell, which is also the best eye cream for dark circles. This contains all the best eye cream ingredients mentioned above, plus a great deal more and you can see the difference literally in minutes of application.
