Is the best eye wrinkle cream good enough for you?

So, what’s the best eye wrinkle cream these days? As far as I remember it was William Blake who said that eyes were the windows to the soul. Perhaps though eyes are in fact our windows, the windows we look through to see our world. I am in no doubt that whichever way you look at it; they are one of most valued possessions.

I am not alone in this thinking, as research has indicated the majority of people value their site more then any of their other senses. So lets look at ways to look after your “soul windows”. If you spend many hours on your computer, fit a screen filter and take regular breaks.

If you participate in sports, buy a pair of protective goggles from a good sports shop and wear them. If you get a foreign object in your eye, pull your top eyelid over the lower one and blink and don’t rub your eye. When going out in the sun make sure you wear a hat with a brim and a pair of sunglasses.

The most important way of looking after them is to make sure your have them tested by a qualified Optician at least once a year and buy a pair of glasses. More recently I decided on another option, Lasik or laser eye surgery, as it is more commonly known.

It is used to correct astigmatism, shortsightedness and long-sightedness. In this surgery an Excimer laser is used to reshape the cornea. This allows light to focus correctly on the retina and this surgery is fairly expensive but if you compare this with what you spend on glasses each year, you will soon recoup your money.

It is also necessary to look after the skin that surrounds them. We all experience our skin wrinkles as we age but if you have never worn sunglasses or wore a wide brimmed hat in the sun, you may find that your skin is beginning to age prematurely.

Do you use any eye cream at all? If not then now’s the time to start. I advise you to try the best eye wrinkle creams and not just go out and buy the first one you come across. If you want to know what I use, it’s LifeCell.
