It is well known that Lasik is the best eye laser treatment you can have but what is the best eye cream on market? With so many new discoveries these days, this also leads to me to ask what will be the next breakthrough? Science is always coming up with something new and its not long before it is available on the marketplace. These are the topics, which I will be considering throughout this article, but I shall start with the second question first.

I have just encountered an article regarding research, which has been taking place at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. They have isolated a new anti-oxidant that is plant based and has been shown to fight wrinkles.
 
As you probably know it are anti-oxidants that fight free radicals. These are responsibly for the aging in many of our body tissues, especially if they are present in large amounts. What can happen are those free radicals from exposure to ultraviolet light and all the pollutants around us, causing a breakdown in elastin fibers and a slowing down of collagen production. This leads to our skin being less elastic and its not long before you notice – “The Wrinkles”. The Hebrew University found that his new antioxidant inhibits the collapse of collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. There research on mice indicated protection from free radicals when out in the sun.

So is this just another would be product that will be here today and gone tomorrow? I don’t think so. This differs from other products on the market that contain anti-oxidants. It does not simply oxidize and is able to survive high temperatures. Consequently it will remain effectual for longer.

A product from this unknown plant source is still being patented but all this sound highly promising and I will be keeping an eye out for new developments as the researcher anticipates developing a new range of cosmetic products and creams for the market place which will be effective on even deep wrinkles.
